·        Activities of the Ecumenical Relations and Development Office, headed by eng. Samer Laham:

-         Visit of the ICO delegation ( Austria), specialized in Oriental and Eastern Church Studies, and Dr. Andreas, Head of the Oriental Studies Institute, (Germany), on September 26, to The Patriarchate and to Sweida, (Archdicese of Bosra and Horan.)

-         In the framework of the cooperation between the Patriarchate and  the European Center for Byzantine and past Byzantine Monument for the documentation of Christian sites and church treasures, a gathering was organized at St. Catherine Monastery of Sinai Mount, Egypt.

-         The Ecumenical Relations and Development Office in cooperation with Berlitiz Institute for English Language, the Computer Dream Center and the Syrian  European  Business Center, is planning for Scholarship granting to female students in the field of computer and English language skills.
