This visit took place during the period (April 10-17, 2007), in order to participate in the consultative committee of Balamand University.

The visit program of Patriarch Ignatius included the following items:

-                                Meeting with  the consultative committee body of Balamand University, focusing on future development plans concerning the University activities.

-                                Visiting the representative of the Archbishop of Canterbury, discussing the preparation for the Archbishop expected visit to the region.

-                                Attending the Divine Liturgy  on St. Thomas Sunday, at St. George Church, London, where talks with the faithful highlighted the future  action priorities for the church.

-                                Receiving a delegation from the Syrian Embassy at  London.

-                                Receiving Father Michael, from Cambridge University, during which different ways of cooperation between the two universities were discussed.
