On Feb. 4, 2005, among parents, friends and a number of clergy, Deacon Wassim Nehmen was elevated to the Holy Priesthood under Patron Saint Daniel name, by laying hands of Bishop Louka Khoury, the Patriarchal Assistant, during the Divine Liturgy celebrated at Al Mariamieh Cathedral.

Bishop Louka spoke about the journey the priest has to follow, in dedication and sacrifice, on the path of the Lord. He also focused on the role of St. John Damascene Institute of Theology in  the cultural and competent upgrading of new priests, able to fulfill their mission in love and dedication.

The Patriarchal family members are expressing their sincere congratulations and wishes to Father Daniel for a fruitful sanctified service.
